New Location for 3D Outdoor Rentals!
3D is catching up with the times and we will now be able to provide you with mobile service and a virtual on-line store where you can reserve your trips and make secure payments. The move will enable us to provide you with new ways to share fresh and exciting experiences in Berks County while still providing the same exceptional and friendly customer service. Blue Marsh Lake will still be our home base, and we will be offering trips on the Tulpehocken Creek and new in 2012 we will be adding Schuykill River trips. "Paddle & Pedal the Tulpehocken Creek"
Can’t decide how best to experience the Tulpehocken Creek’s natural scenic beauty this spring? Join 3D Outdoor Rental and Parks staff for a double dose of outdoor recreational fun as we kayak AND bike along the Tulpehocken Creek. Starting at the Blue Marsh Lake Stilling Basin, we’ll paddle the creek to the county’s iconic Red Bridge. After we pull out by the picnic area, we’ll hop on our bikes and pedal back to the Stilling Basin via the Union Canal Trail back to our starting point, approximately 8 miles round-trip. Trip for experienced paddlers, limited to 15 boaters. Kayaks and bikes can be reserved through 3D Outdoor Rental, or you can bring your own. Cost: $35 (or $40) which includes kayak and bike rental from 3D Outdoor Rental and ACA insurance. Pre-registration with payment required to 3D Outdoor Rental, 610-488-1900 by 6/8. PFDs, bike helmets and ACA insurance required." |
